FeverMates | COVID-19 Supply Update 12th February, 2021
We have worked hard over the past 12 months to limit product shortages. The majority of shortages are the result of interruptions to global manufacturing brought on by Covid-19. Note that we are in close contact with all of our suppliers to minimise the impact on your business.
Supply over the coming months
From our past and current experiences, and feedback from suppliers, we believe there may be supply chain issues resulting in product delays over the next 6-12 months. While it is impossible to know the extent of supply issues and for what products, we are noticing delays on items that have never previously been affected.
These delays are most commonly related to global manufacturing issues, logistical delays and increased demand. Please note that we are continually in communication with suppliers to mitigate the supply chain issues that might eventuate. We hope that the impacts will be limited but cannot guarantee this.
How to best manage potential supply issues
Plan ahead. We cannot stress enough the importance of planning ahead during these times. If you are setting up a clinic or wanting to buy equipment, plan ahead. If you are running a Covid-19 Clinic, plan ahead.
Products that are usually supplied within 2-3 days, could take 2-3 weeks. We believe good planning will alleviate the potential delays that might arise over the coming months.
We are here to help
FeverMates partner with a vast number of suppliers. We work closely with our suppliers and customers to limit supply chain issues. For the latest information on stock levels on a particular product, please visit the relevant product page at www.fevermates.com and look for the stock level indicator. Low stocks will be displayed with a quantity remaining indicator, but bear in mind these can sell out quickly depending on circumstances. If you are still unsure of product availability, please reach out to our Customer Service Team on 1300-796-401 who are always happy to answer any questions you might have.
We thank our customers for their continued support. Your continued support and loyalty enables us to better forecast your needs and limit shortages.
As always we will keep you updated with any major changes. At this stage, there is no need to panic or change your ordering habit for regular consumable items. All we advise, is that you plan a bit further ahead than normal. Should delays occur, you will be in a stronger position to reduce the impacts on your business.
